WhichLender is a mortgage information website from Clara, the operating name of 1001437991 ONTARIO INC.

Questions and comparisons

You do not need an account. Your comparison shortlist stays in this browser tab. We save accepted questions, follow-up context, and a snapshot of the answer, products and sources shown. We also keep diagnostic information such as model version, response time, token counts, failures and data-refresh results. These records help our team understand questions and improve the service. They have no automatic expiry or deletion schedule; authorized team members review and manually remove records. Obvious email addresses and long number sequences are removed from Q&A records, but this is not complete anonymization. Do not include names, contact details, account numbers, documents or other sensitive information.

When AI interpretation is available, a question and its search context are sent to Google Gemini. Email addresses and long number sequences are removed first, but this does not remove every possible personal detail. The model interprets the search; displayed rates come from the publication feed. Google processes requests under its API service terms.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. We measure public page views and a small number of interaction counts, such as answering a question or selecting a comparison. We do not send question text, form contents, filter values, comparison identifiers or query strings. Automatic form and site-search measurement are disabled. Google can receive browser, device and network information when analytics is enabled. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

Your choice is stored in this browser. Use Analytics choices in the footer of a public page to change it, or clear this site's browser storage. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable optional analytics. Analytics cookies expire after 30 days; Google account retention settings also apply.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare hosts the site and processes network requests to deliver and protect it. A signed, essential browser cookie lasts up to 24 hours and connects follow-up questions and fair-use limits. Daily keyed network identifiers enforce additional limits; raw IP addresses are not saved with question records. The cookie expiry and quota resets do not delete stored conversations. A shared counter limits daily AI calls. General request-body logging is disabled. Infrastructure providers may process service and security information under their own policies, including outside Canada.

Messages to our team

When you submit the contact form, we save your message and any email address you choose to provide and send them to our private Slack inbox. You must confirm that you want to share the message. Ordinary Q&A conversations are not automatically forwarded to Slack. These messages and delivery records remain until our team manually removes them; Slack stores its own copy under our workspace settings.

Contact and corrections

For website questions, privacy requests or a correction to published information, contact hello@claratech.ai. Include the public page address and the lender's public source when reporting a rate correction. Do not send borrower documents or financial account details.

WhichLender does not accept mortgage applications, check credit or determine eligibility. Confirm product terms directly with the lender.
